Launch day is finally here! I have been wanting a new website for Little Print Design for so long now, so I am so excited to finally share this with all of you! Not only am I excited about the new look of the site, but I am SO happy to launch all of our new products - including notepads, flat stationery sets and party coasters! For the past 6 months I have been focusing on re-working a lot of previous card styles and introducing a bunch of new designs. The new line focuses on hand lettering paired with watercolor design. Inspired by the California lifestyle, watercolor as a medium perfectly represents the bright, bold summery colors that are around me all the time.
Looking back at my old site, it amazes me how much my company has grown since I first launched. When I first opened Little Print Design I had no idea about the stationery market. I just loved paper & print design and went for it. Since then I have learned SO much. Because of that my line has changed, grown and become much more representative of the company/brand I want Little Print Design to be. Attending Paper Camp and the National Stationery Show are definitely what have helped me grow this company the most. Little Print Design has been challenging, rewarding, hard, fun, exciting, stressful and everything else wrapped up into one, but I love my job and I am excited to continue to grow!
I learned a lot about web design while making this new site... #1. Hiring a company to build me the "website of my dreams" is SUPER expensive and no where near my budget right now. #2. Building my own website was hard but I learned a lot, so thats a positive right? #3. Taking on the website myself took much longer than I thought it would. #4. Product photography is tedious and takes forever. Next time I think I will definitely hire someone for this task. However, it gave me a lot of practice with the scary "manual" setting on my camera. #5. I am so happy with how it all turned out and I am proud to say I did it myself (with the help of a shopify theme, thank god for those!)
I hope you all enjoy the new website!
